France American Staffordshire Terrier is launching a study on the weight and height growth curve of the Amstaff. The association aims to establish an average growth curve specific to the American Staffordshire Terrier breed in order to better understand the breed’s growth patterns, with the average serving as a benchmark for monitoring puppies’ development. While this research may be of interest to breeders in their day-to-day work, it will certainly have an impact on future Amstaff owners, who will be able to adjust their puppy’s diet and tailor food portions based on this curve. To ensure this growth curve is effective and therefore meaningful, France American Staffordshire Terrier is calling on as many breeders and owners as possible to anonymously contribute to a large database.
